Chocolate Orange Pudding Cake

Horrible Holiday Tibit #2:
Don't plan funerals on Christmas. It could wait till the 26th.

Chocolate Orange Pudding Cake

What you need:
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
zest of 1 orange
1 tablespoon orange blossom water (optional)
1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
2 sticks butter, melted and cooled

What you do:
Preheat the oven to 325 F. In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat the eggs and sugar together until it becomes very yellow and very thick. Between 5 and 10 minutes. A long time I know. Meanwhile you can add the orange zest and orange blossom water.

In another bowl, whisk together the flour and cocoa powder. Add the dry ingredients to the wet with the mixer on low speed. Then add the butter. Pour the batter in a greased 9 by 8 inch baking pan. Place the baking pan in a roasting pan and fill it with warm water about halfway to the baking pan. Bake for 1 hour. Serve with ice cream and whipped cream.
