40% of Kids Calories are from Junk Food

Wondering because childhood plumpness is using rampant?

Theyre eating crap. This, according to census data compiled by a National Health as good as Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) as good as reported by ABC News.

Half of a fattening calories come from just 6 foods:

  • Soda
  • Sugary ripened offspring drinks
  • Grain desserts, such as cake, cookies as good as donuts
  • Dairy desserts such as ice cream
  • Pizza
  • Whole milk, that is far fattier than skim.
  • Were astounded french fries are not upon a list.

    Why is this happening to us as good as how can you stop it?

    What you need to know:

    There are mixed reasons for childhood obesity:

    • nutritionally insufficient school lunches (based upon subsidized crops)
    • cheap fast food (based upon subsidized crops)
    • commercials for kids featuring junk food (made from subsidized crops)
    • parents that dont have sufficient time to cook as good as can hope for a x-ray dish in 5 mins from frozen entrees (based upon cheap subsidized crops)

    So how do you get kids to eat healthier food?

    Perhaps a USDA should start subsidizing fruits as good as vegetables alternative than corn as good as soy. But a agro-lobbies are as good powerful for anyone to battle. Our Congress as good as Senate wont tackle them, nor will a president.

    Oh well, during least Mrs. Obama is spearheading Lets Move, a good intended but guaranteed-to-fail module to end childhood plumpness inside of a single generation.
