New World Park during Swatow Lane, off Burma Road is the best place for the altogether experience of Penang food, under the single roof.
Hot off the main road from the highway, tired & flustered, we chill down with this.
Ice Kacang surfaced with assorted fruits banana, mango & the vanilla ice cream!
and the the undiluted approach to get the sugar pour out for appetite too
Tee Nya Kueh (alkaline cakes), chewy & honeyed with gula melaka (palm sugar) ..only in Penang!!
Then it is DUCK egg char kuey teow, fried dry & fluffy please.
A plate of oyster omelette,
..with many juicy oysters..!
Chee Cheong Fun with the heh kor (prawn paste), honeyed plum salsa (tee chiw) & chilli; the pungent Penang specialty.
But we adore it! we can never get used to the KL version.
The BF needs his Curry Mee, with thick rich coconut gravy & loads of sambal.
Oh, dont forget the see ham (cockles), (the bigger the bloodier! Yum!) , pigs blood cubes & loads of packet leaves.
I adore my Penang Lor Bak..
..which comes served with the starchy gravy & chilli..
..and usually, we will throw in the prawn fritters, fish cakes and taiwan pork sausages too!
The child from Ipoh needed his kuey teow thing (rice flour prosaic noodles soup)..
and this chronicle aint bad by Penang standards. Flavourful pork-bone based soup check, springy fish balls check, gizzards check, surfaced with the imperative garlic bits in oil & pork lards check!
Mood improved, tummies filled, the time to check into our lodgings ! And which was lunch yesterday folks!)

Consensus: Food during New World Park is in all good. There are better versions of each plate elsewhere no doubt; though for diversity & convenience, New World Park is preferred for the large group. Food here is sure to suit most, if not all.
Its operation hours additionally contributes to the popularity. New World Park is open from sunrise til night.
