I was early and left to my own devices in the lounge of the Vineyard. After a few photographs of the furnishings and debating slipping a sly shot from an open spirits table I flicked open the mammoth full wine list. Someone fate herself perhaps opened the tome to the Umbrian page. There, to my surprise, was a listing for Arnaldo Caprai and two vintages of the 25th Anniversary Sangrantino di Montelfalco. Earlier this year this was drunk with wild abandon during the IWINETC visit. At The Vineyard at Stockcross it is listed at 139 and 140 a bottle.
