Happy Mother's Day to all Mums!!

When I saw the Canele "I LOVE MUM" macaron last week in Singapore I had to get one on the kids behalf and present it to their mother, Baby Sumo. Baby C and Baby D love their mother and their mother loves Macarons them too :-)

What better way to reward your mother on Mother's Day than to utter the words "I LOVE MUM"

The stars were definitely aligned last week as we had only minutes earlier encountered a L'EAU DE CHLOE pop up promotional display where they were giving away white roses and framed portraits.

I'm going to let you into a little secret here - Baby C goes by the name Chloe. How fitting it would be for us as her proud parents to be captured in a professional portrait below her name. I decided this would be Chloe's individual Mother's Day gift to her Mum.

I'm going to let you into another little secret here - Baby D goes by the name Daniel(the smart ones out there would already ha! ve guess ed this from my name ChloeandDanielsDaddy).

So what can our young son Daniel present mummy with this year for Mother's Day? On another trip to Singapore this yearwe dined at db Bistro Moderne by Chef Daniel Boulud.

The waiting staff were more than happy to meet with my demands and presented me with a clean napkin as a memento of our dining experience on my departure. In keeping with this year's "gift from Singapore with my name on it" theme I decided to frame the souvenir and present it as Daniel's individual Mother's Day gift to his Mum.

Several other macarons passed over Baby Sumo's lips last weekend as did some delicious and exciting food - stay tuned for future blogposts from the parents weekend break in Singapore.
