Kaw Kaw Burger Bakar Wangsa Maju

Earlier I did mention I found my best street burger stall located in Ampang known as OM BURGER. Now to tell you a good news, I found a new place that can top that off! I come to discover about this place from an avid burger lover who recommend me to this place. This place is kinda hard to find for first timer.

You will notice that this burger stall do not have the standard stove with a flat frying pan that the burger patty constantly pressed on till it is dry. Instead of that it comes with a BBQ griller and all the burgers were cooked with charcoal.

The place is known as Kaw Kaw Burger Bakar Wangsa Maju because it is name after the place it is located. From far you will able to see the smoke arise from the cooking and not to mention the long que!

This place is so famous among its patron due to its notorious hall of fame which currently the record of eating the most patty by one person is 10 pcs!

This is the minced raw meat that mixed with herbs and spices ready to be pressed on a burger patty machine. Each slab of the patty is 180 grams weight.

It is pressed at the back of the grilling counter and I can tell you the cleanliness is pretty good for a street burger. All the unpressed patty were stored in tupper ware and pressed when it is about to be cooked.

Each of them then were grilled on a slow charcoal fire and a little BBQ sauce were added to spice up the burger.

The patty itself generated oils when is cooked. When the oil drips to the charcoal, fire gush out!

And creates a little charred edge on the burger patty which I love it so much.

For those who do not take beef, not to worry. They also serve a hell good chicken sandwich here where the chicken were deep fried then grilled before serve.

You get a whole slab of chicken meat and not the minced type.

This is hows the chicken sandwich look like and if you are able to take on a bigger portion, you can ask for level upgrades. Upgrade can go for either add on patty like below for my beef or the bacon add on.

The triple H set meal (3 x 180grams patty) which comes with 2 additional sausages. I already find it hard to eat the whole plate. I end up having the sausages + patty only minus out the bread. It is just too much. The record holder can take on 10 patties! They really got a hard core belly I would say. My meal above with the 3 patty burger cost RM21 with drink included.

Th is is the Cheese burger with bacon add on. Simply delicious!
