This is not a hotel or a place where you can stay. The Inn word may mislead you but this is definitely a great place for chill out and dining.

The grand arch entrance to the restaurant would certainly stop anybody in their tracks. It leads guests into a spacious dining area adorned with beautifully tailor made Chinese lanterns from China that are suspended from a ceiling that somewhat resembles a silhouette of a dragon. The rustic terracotta bricked walls are framed by mirror panels with jade hued Chinese symbols that are inspired by the teahouse concept of yesteryears.

The tea were mixed with natural herbs and flowers like chrysanthemum to suit the taste where everyone can except. Senior people usually prefer a more strong herbal taste in their drinks where the younger generation prefer a milder ones.

The small detail like the tea cup were a specially imported from China that will keep your drinks warm minus the burning feel to your hand. Theres a gap between the content and the exterior of the cup.

A degustation experience of the restaurants signature dishes can begin with Appetizer such as Teochew Style Crisp-fried Prawn Roll, Golden Mushroom Tossed with Onion Oil, Marinated Jelly Fish with Vinaigrette ( , , ).

Try their Double-boiled Black Chicken with Spare Ribs and Ginseng or Double-boiled Sea Whelk with Spare Ribs and Chinese Yam ( ), just to name a few.

For working people that stay away from the parents for a good bowl of soups, here is the best place to get your supply. The soup taste were perfect in terms of taste and enough kick in it. The soup were first boiled in a big pot with big pork bones as a base and then double boiled again in each small pots with all the ingredients and herbs as per in the menu.

On ranking which soup is the best in the menu, is all depends on which one you sample first. Once you sample the first one, the second one will not taste as good. It is due to the herbs that are not meant to be mixed. You either get your second soup more diluted or stronger.

Clam with pork ribs

Apple with Pork Ribs

Crisp-fried Crystal Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk

Normally when this dish is prepared, the chef tend to leave the tail of the prawn in tact. Here in Paradise Inn, they purposely remove all the shells and the prawn resembles a ball and to have the great sensation of succulent prawns coated with salted egg yolks. Pop the whole piece in to get the best taste out of it.

Crispy fried Fish With Preserved Bean Paste (Nam Yue)

Dory Fish fillet battered with preserved bean paste and then pan fried to crunchy texture. A great companion of drinks during tea time. Besides this theres another great dish would be the tea smoked duck which is an alternate choice who wants something more flavorful.

Sliced Tea Smoke Duck

Crisp-fried Crystal Prawns in Wasabi Mayo Sauce

At a glance, I thought it was a dim sum dish but the wasabi smell wakes me up. It is a whole prawn coated with wasabi mayo sauce.

Poach Chinese Spinach with eggs trio in superior stock

Century egg, salted egg and normal egg were used to boil the spinach which is a household dish that my mom frequently cook. Now I can get it in Paradise Inn with the exact same taste and texture.

Seafood Supreme Fried Rice

Every bits of the rice were coated with eggs and you can taste the little popping in your! mouth s ensation results from the ebiko (Crab eggs) added.

Coffee Pork Ribs

Pan fried Caramelized pork chop with coffee marinate

Stew Egg Plant With Minced Pork and Salted Fish in Claypot

The melt-in-your-mouth meat dishes, the Stewed Pork Belly Served with Lotus Bun

Fluffy lotus bun made fresh upon order

To enjoy this, place the whole piece of the pork belly into the bun and bite. 1 piece is definitely not enough. The meat were tender and the gravy were full of flavors. The bun itself do not have any flavor or taste. Eat together with the pork belly gives you a balance taste of the pork which if you eat it alone with be slightly salty.

Crisp-fried Shrimp Paste Chicken Belacan Chicken

Braised Tofu with Crystal Prawn

Braised Vermicelli with Pork Trotters

The vermicelli taste really good while it is hot. So my advice is to enjoy it while it is still hot and it gets oily when it turn cold. The pork trotters give the tasteless vermicelli a smooth texture and pork trotter Kau Yoke taste coating on every slice.
