Now you no need to go till that far. Sushi Tei recently just opened its 2nd largest flagship restaurant right near to you at Setia Alam. It is located in Setia City Mall Upper Ground Lot 21 (UG21). It is just right beside the Dragon-i.
The restaurant were having the latest contemporary decor which carries the traditional Japanese restaurant and modern interior arts. Each of the cubicles and tables were having a bright light and feel very warm upon walking in.
I personally prefer to sit by theconveyerbelt that display all the fresh hand made sushis.
Just pick your favorite. If you are not able to reach them, just place an order from the waiter/waitress.
For those who are new to Sushi Tei, theres 2 items which is off the menu and once you taste them it is hard to resist. They are the . drum roll .. Fried Chicken Skins and Fried Salmon Skins. Pair it with Choya, Sake or your favorite drinks and I can guaranty you going to finish the whole bowl all by your self. Just look at Tock . already start without need me to intro what dish is that with Choya.
From drinks to appetizer, full range of selections can be made and you can assure all the menu items are available.

Unagi hand roll, Ajitama, chawan mushi and edamame beans are some of the good starters here.
Be it the clamp soup, the salmon roe and nato rice they are able to serve you the best and freshest quality ones from their seafoods supply.
Others that dont take much of raw foods (like me), I would hunt down for their yakiniku! I tell you the sauce are superb! The high quality grain fed beef are served raw to you with the sauce on top. Then the stove were brought to you and you settle it yourself. Talking about you cook your own food plus you decide how rare you want it to be.
Shishamo, Sashimis and Unagi, without one of these during my visit to any Japanese restaurant wont be complete.
At Sushi Tei the best part is the range of foods that suits every age. You can see the fun shown on its customers face when the food is served.
The color full sushi platter are the all time favorite of their regular patrons. It is due to the 1 piece each from diff! erent su shi that resembles a sampler plate which you can have all kind of taste without breaking your wallet. If you take the standard plate from theconveyerbelt, it may be too much. 1 bite each is the best! You get to taste before you decide which one you want extra.
Who say fried food is bad for health? Top quality king tiger prawns used and topped with premium mentai. Super sinful! Talk about salmons, just look at the fresh cuts! Not too thick nor too thin. Just nice to have our teeth sink in.
Collagens pair with Salmon and Avocado? Tasty! Never know this combination works and only available in Sushi Tei chain of restaurants.
Raw salmon or cooked salmon with soba . yummy and slurp!
If you still hungry, do checkout their ebiko fried rice which is once of the best among all the Japanese restaurants. Ebiko chawan mushi, unagi tamago roll and Salmon MENTAI!The Mentai (Cod Fish Roe) is baked on top of salmon fillets which is the best seller here and the portion are rather generous. Mentai doesnt come cheap and the price proportion to its servings are good.
The night drift away with more booze and we ended it with a finale of Beef Teriyaki, Takoyaki, Deep Fried Soft Shell crabs and Tori Karaage Japanese Fried Chickens.
