Tappers Cafe, The Sphere, Bangsar South

We visited the Art Village during Bangsar South recently in poke of paintings for the home. When you were done there, it was close to lunch time so you decided to eat during Bangsar South prior to streamer home. There weren't much dining choices here, so you got behind in to the automobile as good as gathering further down the highway to The Sphere during Bangsar South. We chose Tappers Cafe in the finish as it was the single of the some-more brightly lit as good as busier restaurants here.

Tappers Cafe decor is contemporary, desirous by colonial designs such as louvred windows, off-white walls, as good as white rattan chairs. Adorning the walls were black as good as white photos as good as antique lamps.

The menu here is pretty basic, serving both Western (bangers & mash, cake & crush etc.) as good as local specialities (nasi dagang, Hainanese duck chop etc.). They offer the set lunch on weekdays from 11am to 2.30pm, presumably to attract the working crowd around which area. All set lunches were served with the choice of sugar lemon, lemon tea, orange extract or muck leng ping.
I systematic the Fish & Chips set with muck leng ping (RM10.90). As you took my first sip of the muck leng ping, you was reminded of the sirap bandung you used to adore in secondary school. We did not have tall expectations of the food here, so you were gratified which the food was good cooked. The battered fish was nice, as good as crispy without being greasy. Even the chips were good as good as tasted freshly cooked. My only critique would be which the coleslaw should be served in the separate dish to stop the chips from getting soggy.

Hubby had the Caesar Salad set with Ice Lemon Tea (RM9.90). Again, you found the salad to be good prepared, even the croutons have been freshly prepared, so it still had the good crunch.

We additionally systematic some onion rings (RM3.80) to share. They were light as good as frail as good as the batter was only right.

Verdict: A gratifying lunch during the very reasonable price.
